Stap-voor-stap instructies

Stap 1: Prepare and plan
Wash and dry your flat, elongated rock. Use a pencil to sketch the dragonfly — a long thin body down the center with two pairs of wings spreading out to the sides.

Stap 2: Paint the background
Paint the entire rock with a light blue or sky blue base. This creates a sky-like background that makes the dragonfly stand out beautifully. Let it dry.

Stap 3: Paint the body
Using dark blue or green paint, paint a long, segmented body down the center of the rock. Add a round head at one end with two large eyes. Make the body slightly thicker at the head end.

Stap 4: Paint the wings
Paint four elongated, transparent-looking wings using white paint mixed with a tiny bit of blue or purple. Add delicate vein patterns inside each wing using your finest brush.

Stap 5: Add shimmer and seal
Add iridescent highlights to the wings and body using tiny dots of purple, green, and white. Outline the wings with thin black lines. Let dry and spray with glossy clear sealant.

Stap 6: Final touches
Add tiny details like body segments using thin dark lines, and enhance the eyes with white highlights. Your dragonfly rock is ready to display or hide.
